Chantelle is an experienced psychologist who has worked and volunteered in a variety of community health settings, counselling services, and government agencies for almost two decades. Chantelle’s passion to work as a psychologist was born from a desire to support and develop the resiliency and agency of those who were stigmatised and discriminated against based on who they were or what they had lived through. Chantelle has extensive experience working within the LGBTIQA+ community; emergency services and critical incident response; health counselling – in particular sexual health & blood borne viruses; trauma & loss; and addictions counselling. Chantelle’s training has provided her with a variety of evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to draw from which allow her to work in a collaborative, empathic and holistic manner. Chantelle's clients would describe her approach as being warm, authentic and compassionate.
Chantelle is fully registered as a psychologist with AHPRA and is also a Member of the APS. In addition to Chantelle's psychology qualifications, she is an experienced supervisor and is registered as a Psychology Board-Approved Supervisor in Australia, and has done additional training through The Bouverie Centre in clinical supervision.
